Leading the Future of Fundraising: AI Without Losing the Human Heart - July 30, 2026

About This Event

Leading the Future of Fundraising: AI Without Losing the Human Heart by Keith Greer, CFRE
                                                                                          July 30, 2026 from 12-1pm

Artificial intelligence is arriving in fundraising faster than many organizations are prepared to navigate. The question for fundraisers is no longer whether AI will influence their work, but how to use it responsibly while protecting the human relationships at the heart of philanthropy. This session explores how AI can support fundraisers as they listen more deeply, engage more thoughtfully, prepare more confidently for solicitations, and communicate impact more clearly. Participants will move beyond AI awareness into intentional, relat ionship-centered integration, building workflows and habits they can put to work immediately.

Following this presentation participants will be able to:
• Apply the LEAD framework (Listen, Engage, Ask, Deliver) to map specific AI tools and workflows to each stage of the donor relationship cycle, from discovery through stewardship.
• Construct a donor conversation preparation workflow using AI that integrates relationship context, organizational values, and ethical boundaries into a repeatable, personalized practice.
• Evaluate AI-generated content and insights using a fundraiser's relational judgment, distinguishing between useful support and outputs that require human recalibration before use.
• Navigate ethically complex scenarios where AI capability and donor-centered values intersect, using a structured decision framework appropriate to real fundraising environments.
• Design a personal AI integration plan with defined use cases, intentional boundaries, and practices that deepen rather than shortcut the human relationships at the core of effective fundraising.

Founder of Let’s Talk Fundraising and host of the Let’s Talk Fundraising podcast, Keith brings 15+ years of experience leading major fundraising initiatives across higher education, healthcare, and association foundations, helping fundraisers adopt AI ethically, confidently, and strategically.
