Session Description
Join the Central IL Chapter of AFP for an overview of planned giving best practices. April Gould, CPGA, is Senior Director of Gift and Estate Planning for The Salvation Army. She is one of five staff members actively promoting planned gifts within the North and Central Illinois Division headquartered in Chicago. She regularly meets with other Planned Giving professionals, both across the country through The Salvation Army and also locally through the Central Illinois Estate Planning Council. She has helped expand the mission and ministry of The Salvation Army for the last 29 years.

In this session, you will learn key strategies about the promotion of basic will wording, various planned giving vehicles and other asset based giving that can help you advance the mission of your organization. Given April’s experience with donors, estate planning advisors and marketing of planned gifts, you will gain knowledge of additional resources to enhance your fundraising objectives.
