About This Event
Taller Puertorriqueño and the Puerto Rican Professionals Network are hosting a fundraiser comedy show on Thursday October 1st. All proceeds for this event will benefit Plenitud PR.
Puerto Rican Comedians based in Philly and New York will be featured, including London Duran, George Blaha, Tony Loud, Jamie Pappas and Gilberto Vega.
Doors will open at 5:30PM to begin a happy hour networking event with refreshments and the comedy show will begin around 7.
With the water crisis currently impacting the island, we wanted to show our support and come together as a community. The purpose of this show is to bring joy as we continue to collaborate and help those in need.
Plenitud Puerto Rico is a 501c3 non-profit educational farm and teaching center dedicated to service, sustainability, and community. Through service, we find our greatest joy by giving equal value to the needs of others. Through sustainability, we help each other be more resilient and prepared for increasing global challenges, while minimizing our impact on Mother Earth. And through community, we see how much stronger we are together, unified in our shared purpose.
Through programs and initiatives grounded in this mission, we facilitate the skills, knowledge, and inspiration to encourage inner growth and to live in harmony with ourselves, each other, and the natural world.
