Celebrate the season and join us for a joint Connecting Through Art and Holiday Party with the Riverside Parkinson's Support Group. Take in some seasonal cheer and bond over your artistic talent or trials with APDA Virginia and Tidewater Arts Outreach as we decorate some porch decor with Virginia cardinals!
APDA has partnered with Tidewater Arts Outreach to introduce our signature art program to Virginia! Connecting Through Art is a creative arts program that offers people with PD the space and ability to express feelings, emotions, and daily concerns through the activity of drawing and painting. This program is open to any adult who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners. The program is free, but registration is required. Donations are appreciated as we continue to develop programming for this chapter.
