The APDA Parkinson Roadmap for Education and Support Services™ (PRESS) is an 8-week program that provides an opportunity for people with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) and one partner or other family member to meet with other PWP facing a similar experience and share coping strategies regarding day-to-day issues related to living with Parkinson’s. PRESS is a place to share feelings in a safe and caring environment, and gather to share information and resources.
The group warmly welcomes any adult who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease within the last 5 years. There is no cost for this program, as we believe in making our community support accessible to all. Virtual ZOOM groups require the following:
- Access to a smartphone, tablet, or laptop
- Ability to navigate participation in a ZOOM meeting
- Open to pre-program screening questionnaire with a facilitator to determine eligibility.
