Brushes and Birdhouses 2025

Join the Alabama Wildlife Center for a creative, hands-on afternoon at Brushes & Birdhouses! Paint and decorate your own wooden birdhouse to take home—no experience needed. We’ll provide a quick demo with decorating tips, all materials (birdhouse, paints, brushes, and embellishments), and friendly guidance. It’s a relaxing, nature-inspired activity perfect for adults, families, and friend groups—and it supports AWC’s mission of wildlife rehabilitation and education.

Date & time: Sunday, October 12, 2025, 2:00–4:00 PM
Location: Alabama Wildlife Center at Oak Mountain State Park (Meet at AWC – 100 Terrace Drive, Pelham, AL 35124)
What to bring: Clothes you don’t mind getting a little paint on; we’ll have a limited number of aprons/smocks.
Who it’s for: Family-friendly; children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Park entry: Standard OMSP admission applies and is not included with tickets.
