Nature and Birding Walk 2025

Registration has ended

About This Event

Join the Alabama Wildlife Center for a relaxed, guided nature walk through the beautiful habitats of Oak Mountain State Park. We’ll move at a friendly pace and pause often to listen and look for resident birds and early fall migrants—think woodpeckers, warblers, and the occasional raptor overhead. Along the way, our team will share easy tips for spotting and identifying birds, reading habitats, and supporting urban wildlife at home.

Whether you’re brand new to birding or an experienced naturalist, this walk is a refreshing way to start your Sunday and connect with nature in community.
