Thanksgiving Paint & Sip

Settle in for a cozy, creative afternoon at AWC. Paint a fall-themed piece with easy, step-by-step guidance, enjoy a festive drink, and meet Lola (our ambassador Eastern Screech Owl) up close while learning why vultures are vital to healthy ecosystems. No experience needed—just bring friends and seasonal spirit.

What’s Included

• All painting materials (canvas, paints, brushes, apron)

• Guided instruction, beginner-friendly

• Beverage station with non-alcoholic options and adult beverages (21+ to consume alcohol)

Who Can Attend

This is a relaxed, family-friendly program. Minors are welcome with a parent/guardian.

Location & Arrival

Alabama Wildlife Center, Oak Mountain State Park. Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and get settled. (Standard park gate fees may apply.)
