Meet Amariah, a brave 2-year-old currently battling leukemia. She is receiving treatment at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth while facing the challenges that come with frequent medical appointments, treatments, and hospital visits at such a young age.

Amariah’s mother is a devoted single mom who is currently unemployed so she can care for her daughter full-time and be by her side throughout treatment. As you can imagine, the emotional and financial strain on their family has been overwhelming. In addition to everyday expenses, the family is also in need of vehicle repairs to ensure Amariah can continue getting safely to and from her medical appointments and treatments.

Through the Mitchell Thorp Foundation’s Medical and Home Assistance Program, we are helping provide support to ease some of the burdens they are facing during this difficult time. However, the family could still greatly benefit from additional support from our community.

Your generosity can help provide stability, comfort, and relief for Amariah and her mother as they focus on what matters most: Amariah’s health and healing journey. Thank you for keeping this sweet little girl and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
