I am honored and excited to be partnering with The Army of Survivors for the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half! A little about me: my most cherished moments are walking my little dog in Central Park with my partner, I love comfy pajamas, mac n cheese, and and creamy cocktails, I’m a clinical social worker serving adolescents and young adults in my home of NYC, I pride myself on my vast and unpretentious taste in music, and for the last couple of years, I have been finding peace and healing through running.

Partnering with TAOS is a meaningful, full-circle moment for me; I was sexually abused as an adolescent by my swim coach. I am healing because I am resilient, and also because I had access to life-affirming therapy, information and psychoeducation, and a community of like-minded friends and a safe and loving partner.

This level of support is rare, and it is still not enough. TAOS – created by survivors of sexual assault that was enabled by Michigan State University, USA Gymnastics, and the US Olympic Committee – is a groundbreaking organization because their work emphasizes survivors’ resilience, but also our pain at having been failed by the people and systems meant to protect us.

TAOS is unparalleled in their work to make healing a reality for every survivor of sexual abuse in sport, utilizing grassroots programming, state and nation-level policy advocacy, community organizing, and coalition building to bring awareness, accountability, and transparency to sexual violence against athletes at all levels. Please join me in supporting TAOS, and catch me on the Manhattan Bridge on March 16th!
