Presented by the APDA Georgia Chapter

APDA PRESS ON Program - Virtual - September 2026

This special 8-week program is for people who are in the middle stages of Parkinson’s disease.

PRESS ON offers the opportunity for connecting with others with Parkinson’s disease for emotional support and sharing. The group also provides education about the progression of Parkinson’s disease and planning for the future.

Individuals who might be a good fit for the group are people who have been living with Parkinson’s for 5+ years and are experiencing noticeable symptoms of PD that make daily life harder. Care partners are encouraged to attend the PRESS ON sessions, although the individual with PD should be able to attend alone if necessary.

Time - 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. EST - Space is limited.  Registration is required.
(ZOOM link will be available in the registration confirmation email)

PD-focused session topics include:

  • The Road Here

  • Safety, Environment, Exercise

  • Mood, Cognition, Behavior

  • Impact on Daily Coping and Relationships

  • Planning for the What-Ifs
