Connecting Through Art
Enjoy creating art?
Join the American Parkinson Disease Association—Minnesota Chapter as we present our Connecting Through Art class at the Woodbury Lutheran Church in Woodbury, MN. This program provides individuals with Parkinson’s Disease the opportunity to express their feelings and daily concerns through Woodworking! Join APDA and our former board president, Dave Ihle as he guids us thorugh a Parkinson's Disease specific woodworking class.Participants are encouraged to socialize while engaging in the art activities, which also aids in strengthening fine motor movements. This program is designed for people with PD and their care partners.

*All wood pieces will be precut, with the veneer applied to a thin board. Participants will have the flexibility to design their own configurations, with pre-drawn templates provided by Dave for guidance. Instead of using hammers and nails, glue and 3M adhesive strips will be used for assembly.
