Connect with the Care Team is a casual presentation with Q&A provided by the APDA Florida Chapter. Parkinson's Care Team providers bring their expertise to a variety of topics to consider during your or a loved one's PD journey. CWCT is intended for people with Parkinson's, their care partners, families, and friends looking to support persons impacted by Parkinson's. The event is FREE; registration is required.

Introducing your Care Team:

    • Dr. Ramon L. Rodriguez, MD, FAAN, with Neurology One,  is a nationally recognized movement disorders neurologist with more than 20 years of experience in patient care, clinical research, and academic leadership, having served in key roles at the University of Florida and the Orlando VA Medical Center. His work has focused on advancing the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders through innovative research, specialized clinical care, and the development of Centers of Excellence dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
    • Erin Schultz, PT, DPT with Orlando Health is a neurologic physical therapist with the Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute who specializes in helping individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions improve mobility, function, and quality of life. She is a board-certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist, PWR! Moves Certified Therapist, and LSVT BIG Certified Therapist, with a strong passion for evidence-based rehabilitation and empowering people with Parkinson’s to maintain independence and movement.
    • Selys Yalexi Rivera-Reyes, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with ten years of experience providing compassionate counseling and case management for individuals and families. Selys earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing with a minor in Spanish from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL.  Fluent in English and Spanish, Selys specializes in grief support, case management, and brain health care within the Movement Clinic at Advent Health.
