Join The HEAL Project and Muchia Te' Indigenous

Land Trust for a day of learning and connection with

the land at The HEAL Project Farm.  

Who this event is for: Supporters, volunteers, families, neighbors, and folks who are curious about either The HEAL Project or Muchia Te' Indigenous Land Trust. 

RSVPS Required! 

Optional work day: WORK DAY IS FULLY BOOKED!

  • 9am- 12pm, optional workday getting started on building the Indigenous Garden at The HEAL Project Farm.  Please indicate whether or not you intend to join us for the work day when you register for this event.  

Open House Event:

  • 11am-1pm: educational activities, snacks, face-painting and more!

  • Noon: Remarks from The HEAL Project's new Executive Director, Brett Schilke, and a Land Blessing for the site of the new Indigenous Garden by Cata Gomes

What to expect: 

  • Kid friendly activities

  • Light refreshments including farm inspired snacks, nettle soup and white sage tea

  • Participants must sign a liability waiver before visiting the Farm

Activities:

  • Tule dolls

  • Face painting 

  • Mini-bouquet making 

  • Farm scavenger hunt and taste-tour

Parking Policy:

The HEAL Project Farm is located at the end of Bridgeport Drive in Half Moon Bay (in the Princeton by the Sea neighborhood). Please park vehicles in front of the public park at 300 Bridgeport Drive, Half Moon Bay. Continue walking on Bridgeport drive until it dead ends (about 2 blocks) where you will see a small sign for The HEAL Project. Follow the footpath through the trees to arrive at the farm!  We will have staff on site to show you where to park and how to find the Farm. 

Helpful Reminders:

  • Restrooms and drinking water are available at the farm, but please bring your own refillable water bottle.

  • If the day is sunny, remember to wear sunscreen!

  • Dogs are not allowed on the property.

Weather Policy: Medium or heavy rain will cancel this outdoor event.
