WORKSHOP GOAL: To increase our level of People Literacy
What is “People Literacy?” People Literacy is all about interpersonal skills which are the life skills we use every day to communicate and interact with other people, both individually and in groups. People who have worked on developing strong interpersonal skills are usually more successful in both their professional and personal lives.
Developing People Literacy will help leaders & employees at all levels:
· understand their own behavior
· learn how and when to adapt their behavior
· improve communication
· promote appreciation of differences
· enhance individual and team performance
· reduce conflict
Presenters
Ron King is a director of Kingdom leadership International and serves on the board of Vision Christian Bible College and Seminary where he mentors students in the graduate program. His passion is working with and developing leaders which he has been involved in for over half a century.
He is a mentor, coach and consultant to church leaders, business leaders and consultants. Because of his ability to think strategically, he has been sought by non-profit and for-profit organizations alike, guiding them through cultural shifts and corporate transformation. The life-skills workshops Dr. King has developed are used for training in numerous organizations and businesses alike fueling his desire to see others become successful in all areas of life.
Randy Lindhurst is an executive with Midas Auto Service & Tires largest franchisee where he leads the Operations Team of over 100 locations specializing in Leadership development based on the DiSC personal profile system, Workplace Culture and Servant Leadership. Randy is a Certified DiSC personal profile facilitator. Randy has been in this role since 2004.
Randy travels extensively throughout the United States for business and his passion is helping people see their purpose and untap their passion in the workplace whether it be in the shop area or the executive boardroom.
