The Arc of Laramie County announces the return of our social skill classes for ages 15-30. These classes are open to anyone with an intellectual and developmental disability. If you require a support person in the community, they attend the course with you.
Classes will be held on the second Friday of each month from 5-7 pm. We will host classes at various locations throughout the community and cover multiple topics such as learning boundaries/and circle of friends, budgeting, cell phone and internet safety, restaurant etiquette, health and fitness, and more.
Classes are $12 per person, except for our restaurant class. The cost will depend on the meal you order and whether you leave a tip. Classes will be limited to 10 people. Classes with five or fewer people signed up will be canceled.
Parents or support Staff wishing to eat will be $12.00 per person
Payment will be collected when you arrive at the class.
