Registration ends Monday, 11/24/2025 11:59pm MST

Our Future Leaders Program is back for 2026! This year, we’re giving teens and young adults in our bleeding disorders community the tools, confidence, and experience to advocate for themselves and others at both the state and national levels.

Throughout the program, participants will strengthen their leadership, public speaking, and communication skills while learning how to use their voices to make a lasting impact. We’ll cover topics like advocacy, professionalism, budgeting, and showing up with confidence, all while being supported every step of the way by peers, mentors, and AZBD staff.

This is more than just a trip; it’s a chance to grow, connect, and make an impact in your community. Participants will attend Arizona Legislative Day at the State Capitol and travel to Washington, D.C. for NBDF’s Washington Days, where they’ll meet with lawmakers and share their stories to drive real change.

To complete the program, participants must attend mandatory events and workshops (virtual and in-person) and communicate proactively with staff if any conflicts arise. Learning to speak up, ask questions, and advocate for your needs is what this program is all about.

Applications are open to individuals ages 16–25 living with a bleeding disorder or impacted by one. All experience levels are welcome, whether you’re just starting your advocacy journey or ready to take the next step as a mentor and leader in our community. Accommodations may be shared depending on space.
