OWN IT!- January 2026

We’re kicking off 2026 with OWN IT! Teen Transitioning to Adulthood, a program in partnership with Phoenix Children’s Hospital, focused on helping teens and young adults feel more confident managing their care while staying connected to the community.

This monthly program is open to ages 14–25 (siblings welcome) and is built around AZBD’s OWN IT! framework to help individuals own their SELF through building self-awareness, empowerment, and leadership, and follow through as they move toward adulthood.

Our January session, “What’s Going On in My Body?”, is all about understanding your bleeding disorder in a way that actually makes sense, what’s happening, what to look out for, and how to take care of yourself long-term. It’s a great way to get connected, ask questions, and build a stronger foundation for managing a bleeding disorder.
