In this fourth year of the Hunt, we have a new name and slightly different route: the NOVA Treasure Hunt will expand its route to explore not only Arlington, but also Alexandria.
Riders will again be taken on a delightful adventure around NOVA to discover some of our true community treasures: its locally-owned eateries. Led by an online event site, riders will get a taste of what some of our restaurants have to offer as they travel on a pre-planned route learning fun facts about the businesses at each stop, collecting clues, and eventually solving a fun puzzle.
NOVA Treasure Hunt will go on rain or shine, but we’re adding extra transportation options so everyone can participate safely (and stay dry!). Our event hours will remain the same, but you now have the options to drive through the scavenger hunt or drive to each destination without playing the game at all.
While our start and finish line will be staffed between 11:30am-6:30pm both event days, we recommend starting between 11:30am-3:30 pm and ending no later than 6:30pm Saturday-Sunday to have the best chance of reaching our local eateries while they’re open.
