This program is presented by ArtStream in partnership with Prince George's County Memorial Library System at no cost to the participants.
Get ready to move, groove, and shine! Positively Moving combines dance, theatre, and music to help you express your best self. This energetic class continues the Broadway Song and Dance tradition by supporting creativity, connection, and self-expression through movement and performance basics.
Prior acting, singing, or dancing experience is not required to participate. This class is open to adults 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs). Participants should be comfortable in groups of up to 20 people, advocate for any self-care needs, follow directions, and demonstrate respectful, safe behavior at all times.
Class registration will close at 15 students. One registration will sign the participant up for the whole class, and participants must be registered for all eight sessions to attend the class; walk-ins will not be accepted. For questions and inquiries, please email info@art-stream.org.
