2025_12_06: Stones that Speak at the Holiday Art Market (Block 1)

Join Brushwood Center’s Poet-in-Residence Kathryn Haydon for a meaningful and creative workshop, Stones that Speak: Writing Affirmations in Word & Color, held during Brushwood Center’s 9th Annual Holiday Art Market.

In this inspiring hands-on session, participants will begin with a guided creative writing experience designed to spark reflection, intention, and personal expression. Then, using paint pens, you’ll bring your words to life by writing affirmations, meaningful phrases, or New Year’s resolutions onto smooth river stones—transforming simple natural objects into lasting reminders of strength, hope, and possibility.

Perfect for all experience levels, this workshop offers a warm and supportive environment for creative exploration and mindful making. All materials will be provided, and everyone will leave with their own hand-painted affirmation stones to carry into the year ahead or gift to someone special.
