Date & Time
3:00pm EDT - 5:00pm EDT
We will gather a group of artists in our new space and give them time to work on their Project Grant applications.
When: April 4 | 3:00-5:00pm
Where: The Arts Commission | 1000 Adams Street
Co-working is great for accountability, body doubling, time management, and dedicated space to focus.
Here is what our time together will look like:
3:00-3:30—Welcome everyone + short introductions
3:30-5:00—Writing time! Bring your computer with an outline or draft of the Project Grant application and work on them together in small groups. Depending on the needs of the group present, we may have a designated quiet writing space or small groups that will give each other feedback.
Our staff will be present to answer any clarifying questions you have about the grant. If you are in need of specific writing feedback or edits, we suggest signing up for a one-one session with a librarian at TLCPL’s Small Business and Nonprofit Center once you have a first draft.
If you’ve never done co-working before, it’s fun! Bring your friends, some snacks and beverages, and your computer!
If you need a printed version of the application, we can provide that for the co-working session. However, the application must be submitted online to be eligible for review.
Project Grants applications are open to Mid-Career and Established artists living within 30 miles of downtown Toledo. Applications are due Sunday, April 12. For more details and a link to the application, visit our Project Grant page.
Please confirm your plan to attend the session by Friday, April 3rd.
Parking + Directions
Parking is available on the street, and in the Main Library Parking Garage (please use the stairs at the corner of the garage to access street level). When you arrive, enter through the front door of our building on Adams Street, head upstairs to the second floor, and someone will be there to greet you!
