The Arts Council of Johnson County is pleased to host our Creative Connections Breakfast!
Join us for a morning of inspiration, connection, and celebration of arts and creativity in Johnson County.
When: December 2, 2026
Time: 8:00 am - 10:00 am
Location: Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center, 8788 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66212
This year's keynote speaker, Tim DeWeese, Director of Johnson County Mental Health Center, brings over 30 years of community mental health leadership to the Creative Connections stage. Under his leadership, JCMHC recently launched an Artist Residency Program in collaboration with the Arts Council of Johnson County, pairing a local artist with clients and community partners to explore the connection between art and health. Tim will share how this partnership is helping Johnson County residents find new pathways to connection and resilience.
Guests will also enjoy live performances, recognition of local arts advocates, and meaningful conversation over breakfast with fellow artists, businesses, and community leaders.
