Presented by Adath Jeshurun Congregation

Atid Shabbat Potluck Dinner

Registration has ended

About This Event

Atid will be sponsoring a pot luck dinner following Friday night services at 6:00 PM.  Rabbi Krishef, author of Reflections on the Psalms, will lead a short session entitled Birkat Hamazon … more than just gratitude for food! You’ve just eaten, and are expressing your thanks for joy, nourishment, for covenant, for land, for rest, and for deliverance, among other things. Discover a technique of reflecting on the words of Birkat Hamazon that can illuminate a Divine message directed precisely at you.

Adath will provide challah and beverages. Please bring a kosher vegetarian/dairy or vegan dish, salad or dessert to share. Sponsored by Atid, Adath's 50+ group. It's like summer camp... for adults!

*Please dress for the weather as dinner will be outside. We’ll be in the social hall if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
