Boater Safety Certificate Class

About This Event

Boater Safety Certificate Course

In partnership with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, the At Ease Veteran and Frontline Initiative will be presenting the Boater Safety Education course.  This NASBLA approved course is valid in Pennsylvania and other states requiring a NASBLA certified course for legal boat operation. (Always check local laws first.) In Pennsylvania, it is required to hold a Boater Safety Certificate:

  • To operate a personal watercraft, like a jet ski.
  • For persons born on or after January 1, 1982, to operate boats powered by motors greater than 25 horsepower.

This is a great opportunity to be able to meet that requirement, or to improve your knowledge of safe boating.  There is a $10 fee for the permanent Boater Safety Certificate, no charge for the class. The class will be held Sunday, June 14th, From 8 am to 4 pm in the Great Room behind the Education Center.  This is a limited space class, so registration is required.
