Athletes for Hope (AFH) is excited to announce its second annual golf tournament, an afternoon to celebrate, recognize and appreciate the power of the athletic spirit in making the world a better place through community service and advocacy.

Your Impact
Funds donated to this event will support AFH’s Whole Being Athlete (WBA) program, which unites and empowers athletes to help breakdown the barriers around mental health, both in and out of sports. Your support will:
- Help young people from underserved schools develop their mental health skills
- Feature stories and panel conversations to raise awareness about athlete mental health
- Activate athletes around mental health advocacy campaigns
- Educate athletes, coaches and communities about unique challenges faced by athletes
- Connect national leaders to create legislative change for athletes at all levels

Event Host - Colton Underwood
Colton Underwood is an American TV personality, executive producer, philanthropist, entrepreneur, NY Times Best Seller and former NFL player. Founder of the Legacy Foundation, Colton has become a Mental Health Advocate, speaking on his own experience in hopes to help others. Focused on mental health awareness, Colton frequents Washington, D.C. to introduce new legislation that would provide mental health resources to student-athletes and he’s just getting started!

2nd Annual Day on the Hill Event - Athlete Mental Health Advocacy Day!
The day following AFH's Putt for Passion Golf Tournament, on May 21st, AFH will host its 2nd Annual Athlete Mental Health Advocacy Day at the U.S. Capitol. Athletes, mental health partners and members of the Athlete Mental Health Alliance will gather for a panel, community conversation, and advocacy for athlete mental health with legislators to move further towards its goal to establish National Athlete Mental Health as a Basic Human Right. If you are interested in participating in this day as well, please feel free to contact Suzanne Potts, AFH Chief Wellbeing Officer at spotts@athletesforhope.org. Sponsorship opportunities ($10,000-$250) are also available.
