We are excited to let you know that Aubrey Peterson has been approved for a second summer apprentice program at Teens For Christ. Through this program, she will act as a member of TFC’s staff from June to August. Her six weeks of service will include:
1) Being a rotation leader on VBS trips (4 weeks)
2) Planning & helping run TFC’s “Serve” Mission Trip
3) VBS prep, material prep, clean ups, and other needed help
4) Help setup and run various programs at TFC camp
Aubrey offered tremendous help last summer in similar roles, and we are blessed to have Aubrey in this position again. The positive experiences she has had working with youth on similar trips in recent years suggests that she will be an asset to our staff. She has chosen this position with TFC over other summer jobs.
To keep experienced, young adults involved in ministry with us, we reduce their trip fees and allow them to earn a minimal income. However, like the rest of the staff at TFC, Aubrey will have to raise all these funds through generous ministry partners like yourself.
Our hope is that you will regularly pray for Aubrey as she serves in this position. Your help is sought financially, too. Aubrey is looking for many partners who will join her in ministry by contributing one-time gifts to provide the funds required to make this apprentice program a reality. Based on the trips where she will be serving, Aubrey’s fundraising goal for this position is $2,395.
