Join Maggie Hatzpanian the Herbalist & founder behind Maggie’s Healing Path as she leads you on a walk along the wild edges of the Nature Center's grounds.
Maggie is an Herbalist with 20+ years experience working with the healing power of plants. She is an Herbal Educator teaching classes and workshops in her home state of Rhode Island, and Southern MA, her classes range from in depth Herbal Medicine Making series to fun & informative CommuniTea events... & her very popular PlantWalks!
During the walk we will explore the wild edges, where we will find many plants to learn about! With discussion covering plant ID, habitat, native vs bio-regional vs invasive. The uses and applications of the medicinal plants will be covered... Plus, for the brave, you can join Maggie in snacking on some wild edible plants she’ll ID on your walk ... she loves to cook & create wild-plant centered meals & events - during her walks and you’ll hear some of her favorite recipes using the plants you’ll encounter.
