This webinar will be presented on Tuesday 4/14/26 at 6PM ET (+ recorded) by Autistic physician, Mel Houser, M.D., Founder and Executive Director of All Brains Belong VT, who provides medical care to Autistic people through the lifespan. Tickets by donation. 100% of donations support All Brains Belong’s free community programs, discounted medical care, health supplies, groceries, and other mutual aid needs for kids and adults. Suggested donation is $25.

Autistic people have an average life expectancy of age 36-54 years. Leading causes of death are premature cardiovascular disease and suicide. Extensive research shows that Autistic people are dissatisfied with their healthcare, experience significant barriers in accessing care, and feel marginalized and stigmatized by the healthcare system.

Let’s travel together on the journey of unlearning outdated concepts toward the pursuit of inclusive, comprehensive care for autistic patients of all ages.
Participants will leave with concrete strategies for being more inclusive of Autistic patients (and everyone else who learns, thinks, or communicates differently from one’s self).
