Rob and Pat have been incredible champions of Avenue Scholars, helping students pursue education and career success. Rob, serving as a key member of our Board of Directors, has strengthened our mission through leadership and guidance. Through his role at DMACC, our partnership has created life-changing opportunities—and DMACC’s significant financial support continues to make higher education and career training accessible for Avenue Scholars students.

We’re deeply grateful for their commitment and lasting impact on our students and community.

This year's inaugural Pathways to Purpose event will be held November 1st from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Iowa Culinary Institute at DMACC. The evening will consist of:

  • Culinary creations from the award-winning Iowa Culinary Institute
  • Craft cocktails from Apres Bar Co.
  • Big Grove beer tastings 
  • Live music by Chris Ranallo
  • Hands-on industry stations showcasing how Scholars are building real careers in healthcare, business, tech, trades, and more
