It’s Baby Season. They Need You to Survive.
Right now, Texas Humane Heroes staff, fosters, and volunteers are bottle-feeding newborn kittens around the clock because without that care, they wouldn’t survive.
And the need isn’t slowing down. Every day, more moms and newborns arrive — many just days or weeks old and completely dependent on us for care.
Moms like Dolly Parton come to us after giving everything they had to their puppies, often underweight and exhausted. Today, she’s safe, recovering, and ready for adoption. This is what your support makes possible.
So far this year, we’ve already cared for:
- 27 nursing cat moms
- 10 nursing dog moms
- 140 kittens and 51 puppies alongside their mothers
- Over 57 orphaned kittens and more than 100 orphaned puppies
- 39 bottle-fed kittens—and now, 2 bottle-fed puppies
And more are arriving every day.
Some of these babies are only days old. Others rely entirely on their mothers and our team to survive. Every one of them needs care the moment they arrive.
