Special Needs Backpack Giveaway

Autism Life and Living together with Beyond Autism is expanding BHHS Legacy's existing backpack program to specifically serve children with special needs, providing FREE specially selected backpacks and adaptive supplies tailored to support learning and sensory needs. Every child deserves to start the school year ready. Backpacks will include school supplies that are adapted for special needs learners.

• Examples of items are:
• Penicil Grippers,
• Adaptive Scissors
• Crayon Holders
• Embossed Paper
• Chew Toys
• Sensory/Fidgets Items

FREE Backpacks can be picked up:

August 1, 2026 between 10:00 am and Noon at Beyond Autism (formerly Heard Elementary)
