Join us for a night of fun as we celebrate five years of Joyful Readers at our Back-to-School Fundraiser & Happy Hour on Thursday, October 1st, at Yards Brewing Co. (500 Spring Garden St). Half a decade in, we're kicking off the year with our largest cohort yet — 73 AmeriCorps tutors serving over 1,450 students across Philadelphia — building to more than 5,000 young readers we've served since day one.
This anniversary is really a celebration of the people who made it possible, our students, tutors, staff, school partners, and supporters like you. Bring your friends, family, and colleagues for connection, food, and beverages and hear from a school partner, tutor, and our Founder & Executive Director, Dave, who will share a firsthand look at what five years of showing up every morning has meant for Philly's youngest readers.
Festivities run 5:30–8:00 pm. RSVP today and help us make year five our biggest yet!
