About the Classic
The Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley's Larsen Golf Classic has been a cherished tradition since 1972 and is proudly dedicated to John “Red” Larsen. Red played a role in nearly every tournament—serving as Chairman for more than half of them—and was often seen stuffing tee favor bags the night before or setting up sponsor signs in the early morning mist. His devotion to our Club, his community, and the game of golf was unwavering, second only to his love for his family.
Where the Money Goes
For almost 70 years, the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley has been transforming the lives of local youth. Proceeds from this event allow us to provide essential programs and services—regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Thank you for being part of this mission and for helping us support our community's youth.
