Granite Film Program – Monday, April 21

The Granite program kicks off the festival with a dynamic lineup of seven films, four of which are under 10 minutes long. These stories highlight athletes and explorers pushing the limits of human potential:

  • Anytime – Utah (Tour Edit) – A new era of female freeride mountain biking.

  • Ian – The inspiring journey of a 72-year-old climber.

  • For Winter (Tour Edit) – National Geographic explorer Alison Criscitiello’s ascent of Mt. Logan.

  • 2 Legs is 2 Easy – A skier born with bone cancer in his left leg defies expectations.

  • House of Bliss – A breathtaking ride with an Icelandic surfer.

  • Ice Waterfalls (Tour Edit) – A professional kayaker navigates melting ice cap rivers.

  • A Team Sport – Triple Crown ultra-runner Courtney Dauwalter pushes endurance to the limit.

Sandstone Film Program – Tuesday, April 22

The excitement continues on Tuesday with the Sandstone program, featuring seven films that blend adventure, culture, and storytelling. The longest film in this set runs 33 minutes, ensuring a high-energy, immersive experience:

  • The Streif – Fabio Wibmer prepares for an intense ski race.

  • River Mama – A touching story of a lifelong raft guide and her teenage goth daughter.

  • 109 Below – A gripping look at volunteer rescuers (Winner: 2024 Best Film – Adventure).

  • Keep It Burning – A daring free ascent of Eternal Flame 33.

  • Welcome to the Pit – The creation of Yellowknife’s first and only rope tow.

  • Dolomites (Tour Edit) – High-adrenaline mountain biking in the Dolomites.

  • Undammed – A mission to restore endangered fish populations.
