About Girl Scouts x BarkBox
Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians is partnering with regional animal shelters to support pups in-need AND local Girl Scouts! Every $30 donation is twofold - it provides a special treat for a shelter pup and funds the Girl Scout Leadership Experience for girls in our Council footprint. With each donation, a local shelter dog receives a BarkBox containing 2-3 Bark dog toys, Berry Trios (treats), and a fun Girl Scout sheet providing information to earn Puppy Patches.
Participating regional shelters include:
- Young-Williams Animal Center (Knoxville)
- Sevier County Animal Shelter (Sevierville)
- Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter (Elizabethton)
- Animal Shelter of Sulllivan County (Blountville)
- McKamey Animal Center (Chattanooga)
