About Girl Scouts x BarkBox

Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians is partnering with regional animal shelters to support pups in-need AND local Girl Scouts! Every $25 donation is twofold - it provides a special treat for a shelter pup and funds the Girl Scout Leadership Experience for girls in our Council footprint. With each donation, a local shelter dog receives a BarkBox containing a Girl Scout beret toy, Berry Trios (treats), and a fun Girl Scout sheet providing information to earn Puppy Patches. 

Participating regional shelters include:

  • Appalachian Highlands Humane Society (Johnson City)
  • McKamey Animal Center (Chattanooga)
  • Young-Williams Animal Center (Knoxville)
