This annual event series is a fundraiser, with 100% of the proceeds supporting programming within Barnsdall Art Park in the years to come.

For our 17th season, join us every Friday, May 29th through September 11th, on Olive Hill and the West Lawn of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hollyhock House. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets and fine wine from our friends at Silverlake Wine; savor delicious offerings from rotating local food trucks; groove to DJ sets; and explore captivating exhibitions at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery and Barnsdall Junior Arts Center Gallery. And, of course, take in the best view of the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Park Observatory in the city!

• A limited number of tours of the main interior of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hollyhock House, the only UNESCO World Heritage site in LA, will be offered; tickets are sold separately.

• Designated Driver tickets available (Entry only, wine tasting not included)

• Wine Tasting ticket includes entry and 4 glasses of wine only. Food is sold separately. Last call for alcohol is at 8:30PM.

As always, 100% of the proceeds for this annual fundraising series produced by Barnsdall Art Park Foundation support programming within Barnsdall Art Park. More than ever, this event will provide essential funding to help sustain Barnsdall Art Park as the City of Los Angeles's newly proposed budget cuts would devastate our beloved Park and put much of the site's cultural programming at risk.

When are the events?

What is the timing?

5:30PM Gates open; lawn spaces are first come first served.

8:30PM Bar’s last call and bathrooms close.

9:00PM Music and event ends.

Can I be a volunteer at the iconic Friday Wine Nights?

Send us a note at winetastings@barnsdall.org! Volunteer shifts are from 5PM-8PM, on average. 

I use a wheelchair and/or am unable to sit comfortably on the ground. Can I still come and have a good time?

Are children, including babies, permitted at the wine tastings? 

Unfortunately, minors (Yes, this means babies, too!) are not permitted inside the private event area where the wine tasting takes place. However, all are welcome in the public park during the wine tasting event. Please note, no alcohol is allowed outside the gated event area. 

Can I get a refund?

Due to the nature of this Wine Night Fundraiser, all tickets are final sale and are non-refundable.

I do not drink alcohol. Is there a discounted ticket cost for non-drinkers?

We sell Designated Driver tickets (21+) which includes entrance to the wine tasting area. However, no wine tasting is included. Our food trucks sell non-alcoholic beverages. 

How do I purchase tickets?

“You are SOLD OUT but I’m going to your event tonight with a group of people and was wondering if I can buy an extra ticket as they’re sold out online?"

There is no guaranteed entry once the event is sold out, however you may check at the entrance gate around 7PM, if any extra tickets become available.
