About This Event
The 4th Annual BBQ & Baskets is Addis Jemari Teen Board’s signature fundraising event, bringing together families, friends, schools, businesses, and our community for an afternoon of great food, fun, and impact. More than 300 guests are expected throughout the day!
Guests can enjoy BBQ plates, themed raffle baskets, a bake sale, lawn games, face painting, music, AJ Marketplace shopping, and more — all while learning about and supporting Addis Jemari’s work in Ethiopia.
All proceeds support the Teen Board’s Education Drive, which provides school shoes, backpacks, school supplies, tutoring supplies, and tutoring for more than 100 students in Addis Jemari’s programs in Ethiopia.
Event sponsorships help make BBQ & Baskets possible by offsetting the costs of hosting the event, allowing more of every dollar raised to go directly toward the Education Drive.
With 140 Teen Board students representing 25 high schools across Wake County, BBQ & Baskets is a growing annual community event with significant local reach. Sponsors also receive valuable exposure through Addis Jemari’s social media channels, extending their visibility to thousands more throughout our community.
Your sponsorship helps turn a fun community event into meaningful impact for students in Ethiopia AND here in Wake County!
