Join us for our fourth annual Benefit Brunch celebrating the Beam Journeys.
Every day of the year, hundreds of young people embark on a trip to a Beam Center program. Whether it’s a ferry to Governors Island for a 12th-grade intern from Queens, a subway ride to Red Hook for an 11th-grade digital fabrication trainee from Washington Heights, or a bus to New Hampshire for a magical summer at Beam Camp for a 5th grader from Brooklyn, these journeys are transformative.
This year's Benefit Brunch celebrates the intrepid youth who take the Beam Journey and the partners and donors who make it possible. We'll spotlight youth stories of challenge and triumph encountered on their trips to, within and beyond Beam.
We hope you’ll celebrate with us as we keep the mission of Beam Center alive and growing across New York City!

Beam Center crystallizes self-directed growth in youth through ambitious, collaborative project-making. We provide youth from marginalized and low-income populations an inclusive community in which they acquire tools for work, learning and life. We use traditional and advanced tools, technologies, and craft to celebrate the joy of community achievement, inspire a lasting sense of accomplishment, and support youth to shape lives that are sustainable, thriving and fulfilling.
