Ed Snider Youth Hockey & Education presents Bernie Parent's Family Fishing Day 2026!

Join us down the shore on Friday, July 24 for the 9th annual Bernie Parent Family Fishing Day on the in-shore waters of Avalon, NJ. Open to fishing aficionados of every age and level, the outing combines Bernie's passion for fishing with his enduring dedication to the Philadelphia community. All proceeds benefit Ed Snider Youth Hockey & Education.

Bring the whole family, a group of friends, or coworkers and join Snider special guests (to be announced). Participants will board the Miss Avalon at the Avalon Fishing Center and cast their lines for various prize categories including sea bass, "most unusual" fish, and more! Immediately following the afternoon of fishing, anglers will enjoy a dockside celebration at the Avalon Yacht Club.

• 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM | Fishing | Avalon In-Shore
• 12:00 PM | Miss Avalon Returns | Avalon Fishing Center
• 12:30 - 3:00 PM | Dockside Party Celebration | Avalon Yacht Club
