Monday, May 18 (Full Day Training)

Understanding Systems of Power – Dive into frameworks of identity, power, privilege, and oppression, led by nationally recognized anti-oppression speaker and trainer Regan Byrd. Regan brings over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, transformative justice, and anti-racist training. Learn more about her work at reganbyrdconsulting.com.

Tuesday, May 19 (Evening Sessions)

Understanding Interpersonal & Systemic Violence – Explore the dynamics of domestic violence and human trafficking, including common misconceptions, warning signs, and how systems respond. Participants will build foundational knowledge and practical tools for recognizing and responding to these forms of harm in their communities.

Wednesday, May 20 (Evening Sessions)

Prevention, Justice & Inclusive Support – Examine the intersections of sexual violence, prevention strategies, and restorative justice approaches. The evening continues with an introduction to LGBTQIA2S+ identities, terminology, and inclusive practices to better support queer and trans individuals.

Thursday, May 21 (Evening Sessions)

Supporting Survivors Across Communities – Focus on culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches to supporting immigrant survivors and responding to child abuse. Participants will gain clarity on reporting responsibilities, available resources, and how to act with care and accountability.
