This holiday season, more families than ever before in Central Florida are facing food insecurity and struggling to provide for their loved ones. With rising inflation continuing to strain household budgets, many low- and middle-income families are finding it increasingly difficult to afford basic necessities, let alone enjoy the festive meals and celebrations that many take for granted. Senior citizens on fixed incomes are particularly vulnerable as they try to make ends meet.
To help, UP Orlando is proud to continue our Hope for the Holidays initiative, dedicated to bringing holiday cheer to families in need across Central Florida. Through this program, we will provide hundreds of families with a full holiday breakfast and toys for children, ensuring they can share in the joy of the season despite their hardships.
