About This Event

Join Erie Bird Observatory as we explore the marshes during Discover Presque Isle! This outing is free and open to the public, but limited in size due to boat capacity. Donation help us to continue offering free events like this in the future. This trip will be led by Chris Lundberg and Seth Cohen.

Additional Info

  • Registration Required. Please include the names of each member of your group.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes early. We will meet at the waiting area for the DCNR pontoon boat dock on Graveyard Pond (coordinates: 42.16109°N, -80.09321°W). You can also look for the EBO sign by the road. It generally takes about 30 minutes to get to this spot from the entrance of Presque Isle.

  • All outings run rain or shine unless weather conditions are too dangerous to safely be out. 

  • Dress for the weather. Layers are always a good choice. 

  • Wear comfortable footwear.

  • Emails are typically sent out the night before if any changes are required.

  • Look for the Erie Bird Observatory sign. Please arrive 15 before 8:00am so you can fill out the waiver.
