Beach 1 Parking Lot
Mid March is a great time to look for waterfowl migrating north, and Presque Isle offers an excellent opportunity to find and observe many of our dabblers and divers! For this outing, we’ll be meeting up near the start of Presque Isle and caravaning to different spots around the park to look for ducks, swans, loons, grebes, and more. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars and a spotting scope if you have one. EBO’s guides will have several scopes on hand.

Registration Required. Each member of your party must register separately.
- Event is *Rain or Shine* All bird outings run rain or shine unless weather conditions are too dangerous to safely be out or too poor for the birds to be out. For this reason, we do ask you to provide a way to text you as some decisions are made the morning of the walk.

Dress for the weather. Presque Isle is frequently cooler than up on the mainland but sometimes warms up quickly during our walks, so layers are a good choice. Wear comfortable footwear that you don’t mind getting a little muddy.

Meet in the parking area for Beach 1 at Presque Isle State Park HERE. Look for a sign with the EBO logo.
