About This Event
Join educators, advocates, policymakers, healthcare professionals, researchers, parents, business leaders, faith leaders, and community changemakers from across the Carolinas and beyond for a one-day summit dedicated to advancing equity, opportunity, and collective action for Black children and families.
Hosted by Black Child Development-Carolinas, the 2026 Champions of Change Summit is more than a professional development event, it's a movement. Together, we will explore innovative practices, strengthen partnerships, elevate community voices, and develop bold strategies that create lasting change in early childhood education, literacy, health and wellness, family engagement, workforce development, and public policy.
This year's summit will also feature the Champions of Change Awards, honoring extraordinary individuals and organizations whose leadership, service, advocacy, and innovation have transformed the lives of Black children, families, and communities.
Whether you are shaping policy, teaching in classrooms, supporting families, conducting research, leading organizations, or simply believe every child deserves a just and equitable future, this conference is designed for you.
Come learn. Come connect. Come lead. Together, we will build a future where every child's brilliance is the blueprint.
Summit Highlights
- Inspiring keynote speakers
- Advocacy and policy discussions
- Family and community engagement strategies
- Networking and partnership opportunities
- Champions of Change Awards Ceremony
We look forward to welcoming you this December as we celebrate, collaborate, and create lasting change together.
