Black Gold Jubilee Main Street Parade

Thank you for your interest in becoming a participant in the Black Gold Jubilee Main Street Parade! We’re thrilled that you’ve applied to be part of this exciting event. 

By completing this transaction, you are agreeing to and accepting the rules and regulations set forth by the Black Gold Jubilee, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

• All entries will be placed in order according to the parade committee's lineup. You will not be permitted to move spots or jump in line wherever you wish. ALL parade entries are judged and need to be in order according to the lineup to do so.
• Each entry is responsible for their own vehicle and float setup. The committee will not provide vehicles to ride in or provide posters displaying information.
• Once you have checked in on the day of the parade you will be given your number to display on your entry. You will be taken to and shown where you will line up. Please bring tape or zip ties to attach your number to your vehicle for judging purposes. Tape, zip ties, pens, markers etc. will not be provided on the day of.
• If you missed the sign up deadline of April 7, 2025, you will be placed at the end of the lineup and will not be judged.
• If you do not follow the parade rules and regulations - you will be removed from the parade event.

I reviewed and agreed to follow the “Rules and Regulations” as provided by The Black Gold Jubilee. In consideration of my acceptance of this entry, I, the undersigned, intend to be legally bound, for myself, my teammates, heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims against the Black Gold Jubilee, H E Hill Foundation, Inc., City of Belle Glade, Belle Glade Chamber of Commerce, as well as their volunteers, officers, directors, attorneys and affiliated entities, as a result of any damages or injuries arising out of my participation in this event. 

Photography Release Waiver: By way of entering the Black Gold Jubilee participants acknowledge and authorize Black Gold Jubilee, Sponsors and affiliated professionals to edit, change, copy, and make any use of all photographs of me to be used for promotional materials. It is acknowledged that participants will not be entitled to payment or any sort of charge for such action. Participation authorizes the use of my photograph for, but not limited to, publication on the internet, magazines, journals, books, articles, etc., provided that it is done for lawful purposes.

Participants release all rights to any, but not limited to, claims, rights, demands, and/or any causes of action by participants or their representatives, heirs or anyone else.  Furthermore, participants right to any royalty or any other compensation with regard to the usage of the photos referred to in this form. 

Disclaimer and Liability Waiver: The undersigned is aware that there will be no refund of entry fee if the Black Gold Jubilee is cancelled because of weather or circumstances beyond the control of the Black Gold Jubilee. LIABILITY WAIVER: The undersigned for themselves, heirs, executors, and administrator release the Black Gold Jubilee, its members, H E Hill Foundation Inc., City of Belle Glade, Belle Glade Chamber of Commerce, volunteers, and representative and all parties involved from ANY AND ALL liability and damages that may occur as a result of participation in the Black Gold Jubilee.

Designation of responsibility: As a lessee and a participant in the Black Gold Jubilee, I understand I am responsible for obtaining all proper licenses and certificates, collecting, and paying all applicable taxes and adhering to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of the State of Florida.

I HAVE READ AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY ALL THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE BLACK GOLD JUBILEE.
