Join us for a morning of hands-on, family-friendly activities, fun games, and guided trail walks. Don’t miss the highlight of the day — a live raptor program, where you can see our incredible ambassador birds up close and learn about their vital role in the ecosystem.
It’s a perfect way for families to connect with nature, get inspired, and make lasting memories while supporting wildlife conservation!
Every First Saturday has a unique theme! January's theme is: Eagles!Â

Note: We will not have a live eagle at this event.
All ticket sales directly support the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center. As a small, self-sustaining nonprofit, events like this - and the generosity of friends like you - help us care for our raptors, protect the Blackland Prairie, and offer educational programs for families. A Note About Weather:
Because this is an outdoor experience, the event may be postponed if we’re experiencing heavy rain or lightning at the scheduled time. If that happens, you’ll be able to join us on the new date or use your ticket for a future First Saturday event. If neither option works, please consider your ticket a donation to BPRC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Federal Tax ID: 20-1305421). Your support means so much.
