Homeschool Day - February: Feathers & Weather

Homeschool Day at BPRC – February 24, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Discover how birds fly and how weather shapes our world! Feathers & Weather explores bird flight, dynamic weather patterns, and seasonal changes using interactive investigations, a live raptor encounter, a guided nature hike, and creative art activities. Families are welcome to picnic in beautiful Brockdale Park. Come connect with nature and explore the wonders of the Blackland Prairie!

All ticket sales directly support the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center. As a small, self-sustaining nonprofit, events like this - and the generosity of friends like you - help us care for our raptors, protect the Blackland Prairie, and offer educational programs for families. A Note About Weather:
Because this is an outdoor experience, the event may be postponed if we’re experiencing heavy rain or lightning at the scheduled time. If that happens, you’ll be able to join us on the new date or use your ticket for a future Homeschool Day. If neither option works, please consider your ticket a donation to BPRC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Federal Tax ID: 20-1305421). Your support means so much.
