Homeschool Day - November: Wild Wonders at Your Doorstep

Homeschool Day at BPRC – November 17, 09:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Step outside and discover the wonders waiting just beyond your door! In this homeschool program, students will explore local plants, animals, and habitats found in everyday backyard spaces. Through hands-on activities and guided observation, participants will learn about the animals, birds, and insects in their own backyard!  Perfect for curious learners ready to connect with the natural world close to home!

In partnership with Sensory Days Dallas, a Quiet Area with sensory-friendly activities will be available at all family events.

All ticket sales directly support the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center. As a small, self-sustaining nonprofit, events like this - and the generosity of friends like you - help us care for our raptors, protect the Blackland Prairie, and offer educational programs for families. A Note About Weather:
Because this is an outdoor experience, the event may be postponed if we’re experiencing heavy rain or lightning at the scheduled time. If that happens, you’ll be able to join us on the new date or use your ticket for a future Homeschool Day. If neither option works, please consider your ticket a donation to BPRC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Federal Tax ID: 20-1305421). Your support means so much.
